Not one to follow the beaten path, Alexis has relentlessly questioned what she learned from others against her own experience, bringing a fresh take to many topics, from internal family systems to romantic love. She has a knack for connecting the dots, translating large bodies of work into something accessible, grounded in the practical. Where others might stop when arriving at a truth, Alexis continues to peel back the layers. She loves to lead the reader down a path to an expected truth, only to turn this “truth” gently, playfully on its head. Alexis’s greatest joy is waking up to more of her true self and getting to witness others do the same.

When not writing at her local coffee shop, Alexis can be found meditating under the stars on Maui or finding adventure with her partner and their three boys. Alexis lives in Oregon.
